There are plants that will survive and flourish in every section of the country and in any type of home. They withstand the dry air that is so prevalent in modern air-conditioned and heated homes. Some love bright direct sunlight while others prefer a low light environment or do well under artificial lighting. If you understand the basic needs of the plants you have or would like, you can grow and enjoy your house plants and they will flourish under your care.
